Yupo paper ,,,Very COOL

Well, I went to my workshop last weekend. I had never used Yupo paper before...it is wonderful! It has a plastic like surface so, if you don't like what you've done you can wipe it off and start again!
I brought acrylics with me (mistake) because I didn't have watercolors. The problem with acrylics is that they dry too fast for this technique and the paint needs to stay wet in order to blend and move color around.
. The idea is to take a plexi glass sheet, apply a pretty thick coat of a few paint colors, take the yupo paper and place it down on the plexiglass, burnish it and lift it up (kind of like those milk blots we did in school). The beauty of it is that you can shift and move the paper to get various effects as well as placing your paper down for another print right on top of the first lift.
After you are satisfied with the print, you can:
remove color, or add color according to what subject you are painting. You can even use pen and ink over it once it is dry.
The instructor made beautiful landscapes using this technique.

I thought "This will make GREAT collage backgrounds! I can't wait to dpo a few more prints.
