Good news, my art has sold at Idiosycrazies! I am now working on another series that is nature related. I have begun a collage of trees. Once it is done I will post. My Etsy Shop has lots of new items. I have found a wonderful embroidery source.Now I can offer custom embroidery on blankets, bandannas, dog coats etc. I am very excited about this new option I can offer my customers. Lazy weekend

Well, it's Sunday and I'm going to try to focus on a Journal Round Robin I'm in. Not sure what a Round Robin is? Well, it's when a group of artists collaborate on each each others books, journals. We each start a journal and send it onto the next person on the list. This goes on until each artist has received and worked in each book. The book then goes back "home" to it's original owner. This journal project was started in a Yahoo group called Paper Traders. I'll post my book as soon as I get it done.

I also came across a few more groups that are geared toward collaborative or interactive projects. Another one is Post crossing. Where you can send and receive postcards from participants all over the world. http://www.postcrossing.com/

Another one is 1,000 journals. I bought the book and it was a very interesting project started by http://someguy.com.

Sea Series

Well, today will be devoted to painting not doggie attire. I started a series of underwater collages this summer. I think I am gong to work on a piece today of a seahorse. They have always been one of my favorite sea creatures. I want to paint it on a wood panel not a canvas because it has to be longer than its wide. So, I'm off to Home Depot for a wood panel. I'll post when its in progress.

New directions

Well, I'm having a blast making these dog coats! I also made ties....my friends tell me I'm loosing it..LOL...Hey many great things were started with a crazy ideas! I hope this shop does better than my mixed media shop (Collagebox).

A beautiful sunny day...what should I do today? I'm probably going to visit a friend, maybe walk with Raven (my dog). I should take advantage of this, very cold weather is going to be upon us sooner than we think. Now for those of you who like the winter, you'll have a blast but as for the sun worshipers like myself....NOT!

Doggie Models

I have 2 new doggie models for my coats. The first one is Roxie(belongs to my niece, Marissa)and the second one (Eskimo dog) is my fur baby Raven

I'm getting there

So far i have finished 4 doggie coats. I'm not ready to put them up for sale just yet. I have looked into a website with a shopping cart and I really can't afford a shopping cart yet but I am in the process of writing the text for it.

In the meantime, my Etsy shop remains a non-profit. I have thought many times of closing it but I like the site and the networking too much so I keep it open but with less inventory.

Well, off to bed.
