New work

its been awhile since I posted. i have worked on a few new pieces.....Ive done a workshop at the Manalapan Library which was a success and now I'm going to teach classes at a local craft store...so i'm getting there.
My ultimate goal is to have a one woman show.....don't know where yet.....My second goal is to get more classes to teach......

Spring is coming? I hope

New work...a journal in an Altered Book

I decided to make something for myself for a change. Here is a 2page spread in a journal I started a feww weeks ago. I have never journaled before...let alone share it with anyone.....but these are not very personal pages so here they are....

How do the rest of you feel about journaling...do you think it is a way to get creative? I'm sure it is a way for some folks to 'heal' after a traumatic experience.......what do you think?

Well, I've completed another 'goth'. I also put this in my 'technique book', I used modeling paste for the hair and the background was layered papers.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL. My art room is too cold now to work in so, I probably won't be making anything much for a few weeks until I get a heater. I received some very nice gifts this year and got together with friends. TTFN
