workshop

Today I am going to a workshop presented by one of my art society members. It is watercolor on Yupo paper. I've heard ofthis paper but never used it. I am looking forward to it! If my scanner is working I will poist my results.

Spring is in the air!

I had a really good day yesterday. I met up with an old friend, had lunch and caught upon "what's going on in our lives".

I am bringing a piece of work to a show today. I would post it here but my scanner is acting up .Anyway, the show is being run by The Laurelton Art Society here in Brick, NJ. I just joined this group because I needed to find a place i could ' network' with other artists and get involved in the local art community. If any of you are interested in attending the show it is on

I've decided that I'm going to try my hand at oil pastels.......I don't have to set up an easel and they don't create dust.
I just read an article in this months Artist's Magazine. I am attending a Plein Air outing next month and i think these may be a good medium to take with me.

Ebay store closed

Hi all,
Had to close my ebay store again for awhile. I am having printer problems so i can't scan any artwork to put up for sale and any older work that i had in my picture file is on the old computer that crashed. I'll be up and running again soon.

I'm trying to learn Vista...don't like it much.

The new year

It's 2009 and I haven't gotten around to my Art To Do List......
